Fuzzy Evaluation of Social Exchanges Between Personality-based Agents

Social interactions can be seen as service exchanges, followed by the qualitative evaluation of those exchanges by means of social exchange values. This paper introduces an approach based on Fuzzy Logic for the evaluation of the investment and satisfaction values generated in personality-based social exchanges in multiagent systems. The fuzzy equations of material social equilibrium, associated to the first stage of a social exchange between agents, are analyzed in detail. A case study is presented to illustrate the proposed approach.
